Why do people join GEAPS?
People join GEAPS for a variety of reasons, but it’s usually a combination of growing their professional network, increasing their overall industry knowledge and advancing their careers.

How long do people stay members of GEAPS?
Memberships are based on an annual system, and we are proud to share that a number of members remain with GEAPS for decades. We have programs in place for chapters to recognize individuals for 5, 10, 15 and 20 years of membership, and we honor our 25, 40 and 50-year members annually at the GEAPS Exchange.

I have worked in the industry for years. How would I benefit from being in GEAPS?
Your experience would be very welcome with GEAPS! You could benefit by learning best practices from peers at local and international events that improve your facility’s efficiency and meeting suppliers who offer products and services in your region. You can also give back to the industry by volunteering to share your experience and help shape our programs and services.

What will I receive after I join GEAPS?
You will be mailed a welcome packet that includes the DirectaSource membership directory, yearbook and buyers’ guide. You will receive online access to the member directory and knowledge center at www.GEAPS.com. You will also be added to our email list, so you always learn about the latest professional development and networking options.

What are the main reasons for becoming a GEAPS member?
